I am excited to announce that my short story “Labyrinth” has just been published in Aphelion: The Webzine of Science Fiction and Fantasy. This is one of my longer pieces (nearly 5,000 words) but not the newest one – I actually wrote it last December and spent quite some time afterward modifying the first draft until I was somewhat satisfied with the result. The story takes place in a not-so-distant future where genetic engineering is rampant and some people are just unlucky enough to have to deal with its unforeseen consequences. You can read the story here.
See you on the flip side!
